Position: Manual Tester
Location: Gurgaon
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team and project managers to understand project requirements and testing objectives.
- Execute manual testing on software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to defined specifications.
- Create and execute test cases and test scripts to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of the software.
- Identify and document software defects, ensuring accurate logging and tracking for resolution.
- Participate in defect triage meetings, providing insights and recommendations on prioritizing and resolving reported issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and debug reported issues, providing detailed information for effective resolution.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
- Conduct ad-hoc and exploratory testing to uncover any potential issues or usability concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth testing process and timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in the field of manual testing.
Requirements:
- Freshers with a strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts.
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques and methodologies.
- Familiarity with test case creation, test execution, and defect tracking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to new technologies and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
