Position: Manual Tester

Location: Gurgaon

Airpus, a leading technology company, is currently seeking Manual Testers to join our team in Gurgaon. This is an exciting opportunity for freshers who are passionate about software testing and eager to kick-start their careers in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team and project managers to understand project requirements and define testing objectives.
• Conduct manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to defined specifications.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of the software.
• Identify and document software defects, ensuring they are accurately logged and tracked for resolution.
• Participate in defect triage meetings to provide insights and recommendations on prioritizing and resolving reported issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and debug reported issues, providing detailed information for effective resolution.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
• Conduct ad-hoc and exploratory testing to uncover any potential issues or usability concerns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth testing process and timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in the field of manual testing.

Requirements:

• Freshers with a strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts.
• Knowledge of manual testing techniques and methodologies.
• Familiarity with test case creation, test execution, and defect tracking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to new technologies and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
