Position: Manual Tester

Location: Mohali, Punjab [ Phase 8 ]

RND_Experts, a leading software development company, is urgently hiring for the position of Manual Tester. We are looking for individuals with 6 months to 1 year of experience in manual testing to join our dynamic team. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review and analyze system specifications: You will be responsible for understanding and analyzing the system specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of the software being tested.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results: You will execute test cases, either manually or using automated testing tools, to identify defects or errors in the software. You will meticulously analyze the test results and provide detailed reports.
• Evaluate product code according to specifications: You will verify that the product code aligns with the specified requirements and standards. You will conduct thorough code reviews to ensure the quality and integrity of the software.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects: You will maintain accurate and detailed records of the testing phases, including test plans, test scripts, and test results. You will document any defects or issues discovered during the testing process.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams: You will collaborate with the development teams to report and document bugs, errors, and other issues found during testing. You will clearly communicate the identified problems and provide all relevant details for effective resolution.
• Help troubleshoot issues: You will assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues encountered during testing or after the software has been released. You will work closely with the development teams to identify the root causes of problems and provide suggestions for resolution.
• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing: You will perform post-release or post-implementation testing to ensure that the software is functioning correctly in the live environment. You will validate the software against the specified requirements and ensure its smooth operation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers, to ensure that quality is maintained at every stage of the software development lifecycle. You will actively participate in discussions and provide valuable insights to improve the overall quality of the software.

Qualifications:

• Graduation in any discipline
• Relevant certifications in software testing will be an added advantage
