Key Responsibilities:

API Testing: Utilize your expertise to perform thorough API testing, ensuring the reliability and functionality of cloud-based applications.
Cloud-Based Application Integration: Collaborate with development teams to perform integration testing of cloud-based applications, focusing on performance and reliability.
Database Integration: Leverage your experience in database integration, particularly with Salesforce (SAAS) applications, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Deployment Validation, and Post-Deployment Validations.
Expertise in Databases: Showcase your proficiency in working with on-premises and cloud-based databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, AWS Cloud S3, Redshift, and Athena.
Testing Types: Participate in different types of testing, including Black Box testing, Smoke testing, Functional testing, System Integration Testing (E2E Scenarios), UAT, and Post-Deployment Testing.
Performance Testing: Be involved in Load Testing, Performance Testing, and Stress Testing to ensure the scalability and robustness of applications.
Scripting: Demonstrate your ability to write complex SQL and Python scripts for various testing scenarios. Experience with automated testing tools like TOSCA is considered an advantage.
Business Intelligence: Gain a strong understanding of business intelligence concepts, architecture, and building blocks, particularly in ETL processing, Data Warehousing, dashboards, and analytics.
Test Case Management: Expertly use tools like JIRA and Excel for writing test cases and tracking defects throughout the testing process.
Defect Tracking: Participate in Defect Triaging during major releases, track defects for resolution, and ensure their conclusion.
US EST Time Overlap: Be available for 3-4 hours of work time overlap with the US Eastern Standard Time zone (Work Time: 1 pm to 10 pm).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Test Engineer.
Strong expertise in API Testing, particularly using tools like Postman.
Experience with cloud-based application integration and performance testing.
Proficiency in database integration, especially with Salesforce (SAAS) applications.
Solid understanding of on-premises and cloud-based databases (Oracle, MSSQL, AWS Cloud S3, Redshift, Athena).
Experience with a variety of testing types, including Black Box testing, Smoke testing, Functional testing, and Performance Testing.
Ability to write complex SQL and Python scripts for test automation.
Familiarity with automated testing tools like TOSCA is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of business intelligence concepts, ETL processing, Data Warehousing, dashboards, and analytics.
Proficiency in using JIRA and Excel for test case management and defect tracking.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
US EST time overlap availability for 3-4 hours is required.
