We are looking for an experienced Software Tester to join our client’s team for a long-term contract-to-hire role. As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications, with a focus on ETL & DB testing. If you have a strong background in software testing, a deep understanding of SQL, and experience in Agile methodologies, we invite you to apply.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and software testing needs.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL & DB testing.
- Conduct thorough testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
- Write complex SQL queries to verify data transformations, migrations, and reporting.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and defect identification.
- Execute manual and automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve testing-related issues.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress, defects, and test coverage.
- Contribute to test strategy development and continuous improvement of testing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying.
- Experience with ETL & DB testing, including knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
