Position: Software Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Pune
Wolters Kluwer is urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Analyst with expertise in ETL and BI Testing for its Pune location. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in BI Testing, with a strong background in ETL and Data Warehouse applications. Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough testing of ETL and Data Warehouse applications, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Understand mapping documents and write SQL Queries for data validations.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries for comprehensive data testing and validation.
- Create test plans and test cases based on business requirements, ensuring maximum test coverage.
- Apply fundamental quality assurance concepts and best practices to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
- Identify positive and negative testing scenarios, thinking out of the box to uncover potential issues.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end data flow across multiple applications and understand the overall process.
- Work with ERP applications, validating their integration and data consistency with other systems.
- Utilize reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAP Business Objects to perform testing and verification.
- Manage multiple parallel projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments is preferred.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in BI Testing, with exposure to ETL and Data Warehouse applications.
- Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries and conducting data validations.
- Excellent understanding of fundamental quality assurance concepts and best practices.
- Ability to think creatively and develop unique positive and negative testing scenarios.
- Familiarity with ERP applications and their integration with other systems.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAP Business Objects.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel projects and deliver high-quality results on time.
- Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments is a plus.
