Position: ETL Test Engineer

Appzlogic is currently seeking highly skilled and experienced ETL Test Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL testing and possess strong knowledge of query building, data mapping, and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Build complex queries for data mapping and generate reports for the management team.
• Write optimized queries using tools such as Informatica or Oracle EDI or any other Data Warehouse to ensure fast and accurate results.
• Create comprehensive ER diagrams that depict the complete data inflow and outflow of the entire system.
• Design and implement multiple types of workflows with the same or different mappings.
• Analyze logs and debug issues while retrieving results from complex queries.
• Read data feeds from multiple input sources, transform the data, and load it into output sources.
• Design high and low-level data flow diagrams to understand source and target objects that feed data into the system.
• Perform reverse engineering processes to collect information and load it into the system.
• Collect information and perform validation using metadata.
• Generate complex queries for data mapping and analysis based on workflow code, data dictionary, data mapping, and ER diagrams (created in Informatica).
• Have a strong understanding of creating different workflows and mappings in Informatica.
• Traverse through data flows and sub-flows to depict the complete data inflow and outflow according to workflows.
• Analyze data and generate optimized reports for the team to facilitate decision-making.
• Read data from XML, JSON, or tables, and write the results in the same format.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C# to create connection strings or generate customized reports is a plus.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ETL testing.
• Strong expertise in building complex queries for data mapping and report generation.
• Proficiency in using tools like Informatica or Oracle EDI or any other Data Warehouse.
• Ability to create accurate and optimized queries for efficient data retrieval.
• Solid experience in creating ER diagrams to illustrate the data inflow and outflow of the system.
• Familiarity with multiple types of workflows and mappings in Informatica.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to debug issues and analyze data.
• Understanding of reading and writing data from XML, JSON, or tables.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or C# is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team.
