As a Specialist in Quality Engineering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Key Responsibilities:

1. ETL Testing: Conduct comprehensive ETL testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to transformation processes.
2. Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements and business logic.
3. Test Execution: Execute test cases, meticulously document test results, and identify and report defects or issues.
4. Data Validation: Ensure data completeness, correctness, and consistency across various data sources and targets.
5. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that changes or enhancements to ETL processes do not introduce defects.
6. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to evaluate the efficiency and scalability of ETL processes.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and resolve issues.
8. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
9. Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot data-related issues and work proactively to prevent future problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6 to 9 years of proven experience in Quality Engineering, with a focus on ETL testing.
• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and methodologies.
• Proficiency in ETL testing tools and SQL for data validation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
