Position: QA Engineer – ETL and Integration Testing

Job Summary: Mobile Programming is currently seeking experienced QA candidates with expertise in ETL and integration testing to join our team. As a QA Engineer specializing in ETL and integration testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring seamless integration of systems. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand requirements and ensure effective test coverage.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes and system integrations.
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to validate the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
• Perform data validation and verification to ensure data consistency and adherence to business rules.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and provide recommendations for process improvements and optimizations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize testing requirements, ensuring test coverage aligns with business needs.
• Execute performance and scalability testing to ensure optimal system performance under different load conditions.
• Develop and maintain test data sets and test environments to simulate real-world scenarios.
• Prepare and present test reports, including test coverage, defects, and overall quality metrics, to project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA, with a focus on ETL and integration testing.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with integration testing of systems, including APIs, web services, and data transfers.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of ETL testing tools like Informatica, IBM DataStage, or Talend.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in testing data integration processes, data mapping, and transformations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work from the office in Pune, India.
