Job Description:

As an ETL Tester at Zia Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital payment solutions, with a particular emphasis on ETL processes and messaging systems. Key Responsibilities:

ETL Testing: Conduct thorough ETL testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and transformation processes.
SQL Proficiency: Create and execute SQL queries to validate data transformations and ensure data consistency.
Messaging Systems: Familiarity with MT/MX Messaging systems and their testing methodologies is a significant advantage.
Digital Payments Expertise: Utilize your experience in digital payments and payment gateway projects to ensure the reliability of our solutions.
Software Testing: Leverage your 5 to 6 years of software testing experience to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
MQ Messages: Experience in testing MQ (Message Queue) systems will be considered a valuable asset.
Banking and Payments: Apply your knowledge of banking and payment modules, with a preference for SWIFT transactions, to test and validate financial transactions.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects, ensuring clear communication within the team.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and business analysts, to resolve issues and ensure product quality.
Problem Solving: Use your analytical skills to investigate and troubleshoot data-related issues, implementing preventive measures as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in ETL testing, contributing to process enhancements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 to 6 years of proven experience in software testing.
Strong understanding of ETL concepts, methodologies, and tools.
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and testing purposes.
Familiarity with MT/MX Messaging systems (a plus).
Experience in digital payments and payment gateway projects for at least 2 years (mandatory).
Knowledge of banking and payment modules, especially SWIFT transactions (preferred).
Experience with MQ (Message Queue) systems is advantageous.
