Position: ETL Tester

Location: Remote/Hyderabad/Vizag

We are currently hiring for an experienced ETL Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL Testing and possess strong skills in MS Excel, SSRS Testing, SQL Scripting, and DWH Testing. This position offers remote work options as well as opportunities in our Hyderabad and Vizag offices. The shift timings for this role are based on the UK shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes, ensuring the accurate transfer of data from the source to the target systems.
• Conduct data transformation and manipulation testing using SQL scripting to validate the integrity of data during the ETL process.
• Verify data quality and completeness by executing SQL scripts and conducting thorough data validation checks.
• Work with ETL tools such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to test data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Execute and monitor SQL Agent Jobs to schedule and automate ETL processes.
• Conduct SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) QA testing to validate the accuracy and functionality of reports.
• Perform Power BI QA testing to ensure the reliability and performance of Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
• Validate the accuracy and functionality of SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) Cubes.
• Utilize MS Excel skills to review data, perform data analysis, and use functions like Pivot, VLOOKUP, etc.
• Create comprehensive test plans and completion documents to track testing activities and ensure test coverage.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with the development and testing teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and provide suggestions for improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ETL Testing, with a strong focus on EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) source-to-target testing.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting for data validation, data transformation, and manipulation testing.
• Strong working knowledge and experience with ETL tools, specifically SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• Experience in running and monitoring SQL Agent Jobs.
• Familiarity with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and Power BI QA testing.
• Understanding of SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) Cubes and their validation.
• Excellent MS Excel skills, including data review, analysis, and functions like Pivot, VLOOKUP, etc.
• Experience in creating test plans and completion documents.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with team members.
• Ability to work in a UK shift.
