Job Description:

We have exciting openings for the position of ETL Testing with our esteemed client. This role is suitable for professionals with 5-9 years of experience in software testing, particularly ETL testing, SQL, and experience in MT/MX Messaging systems. Key Responsibilities:

  1. ETL Testing: Perform comprehensive ETL testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to transformation processes.
  2. SQL Proficiency: Create and execute SQL queries to validate data transformations and maintain data consistency.
  3. Messaging Systems: Utilize your expertise in MT/MX Messaging systems to test and validate data exchange and communication.
  4. Digital Payments Experience: Apply your knowledge gained from working on digital payments and payment gateway projects for at least 2 years to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our solutions.
  5. Software Testing: Leverage your 5-9 years of experience in software testing to develop and execute robust test plans and test cases.
  6. MQ Messages: Experience in testing MQ (Message Queue) systems is an added advantage.
  7. Banking and Payments: Utilize your understanding of banking and payment modules, with a preference for SWIFT transactions, to test and validate financial transactions.
  8. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, test results, and defects, ensuring clear communication within the team.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and business analysts, to resolve issues and ensure the quality of the product.
  10. Problem Solving: Utilize your analytical skills to investigate and troubleshoot data-related issues, and proactively implement preventive measures.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in ETL testing, actively contributing to process enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-9 years of proven experience in software testing.
  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and testing purposes.
  • Familiarity with MT/MX Messaging systems (required).
  • 2 years of experience in digital payments or payment gateway projects (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of banking and payment modules, especially SWIFT transactions (preferred).
  • Experience with MQ (Message Queue) systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
