Position: ETL QE Lead
Location: Bangalore
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Utilize your experience in data testing/validation, schema validations, ETL process validations, automation testing, quality assurance, and functional testing to ensure the quality and accuracy of our ETL processes.
- Analyze business user requirements and gather an in-depth understanding of BRD (Business Requirements Document), SRS (Software Requirement Specifications), and use cases.
- Perform data engineering tasks such as data mining, data modeling, data completeness checks, and data validation checks using complex SQL queries.
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise in ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, and Abinitio, focusing on data tests, data validations, DB logic validation (triggers, events, stored procedures), SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, functional analysis, data mapping, data profiling, data cleansing, sorting, merging, data joins, data transformation, table creation, and report generation.
- Apply your expertise in test data management, ETL, data masking, data creation, and BI tools to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of data-related processes.
- Validate BI reports using reporting tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Create and review test plans/specifications, coordinate activities within the team, and ensure the quality of test design and test plans.
- Utilize specific test data management tools to generate production-like data subsets, masked production data, and synthetic data for testing purposes.
- Conduct product and process demonstrations and design process workflows to facilitate effective testing and quality assurance activities.
- Apply your experience working with different methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile-Scrum, and Kanban to adapt to the organization’s project management approach.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong proficiency in ETL processes, SQL, BI testing, Informatica testing, ETL tools, SQL Server, software testing, and data warehousing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of data validation and data quality principles.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in ETL testing, database testing, data warehouse testing, automation, and manual testing.
