Position: Sr. QA Automation

Cinntra Infotech is a leading technology solutions provider in the financial services industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our capital market trading platform.

Responsibilities:

• Capital Market Trading Domain Experience: You will leverage your expertise in the trading domain to understand and analyze the requirements of our trading platform. Your experience with equity and derivative trading platforms will be essential in identifying potential issues and improving the overall quality of our software.
• Automation Testing: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the stability and performance of our trading platform. Using your hands-on experience with automation testing tools like Selenium with Java/JavaScript or Python, you will create robust test scripts and frameworks to automate the testing process.
• Programming Language Proficiency: Strong programming skills are essential for this role. You should have in-depth knowledge of either Java or Python programming languages. Your ability to write efficient and maintainable code will be crucial in developing and enhancing our test automation framework.
• API Testing: You will be involved in testing the various APIs used in our trading platform. Experience with API testing tools such as Rest Assured, Postman, and Newman is required. Knowledge of trading and market data APIs will be an added advantage.
• Version Control: You will be working with version control systems like Git, specifically BitBucket and GitLab. Proficiency in managing code repositories, branching, merging, and resolving conflicts is essential for this role. You should have a solid understanding of code versioning best practices.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting: You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking defects throughout the testing process. You should be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills are required to provide accurate defect reports.
• Test Documentation: You will create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. You should have strong documentation skills to ensure that all test activities are well-documented and easily understandable by team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in QA automation, preferably in the capital market trading domain.
• Solid understanding of equity and derivative trading platforms, with exposure to commodity market trading as a plus.
• Strong hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium with Java/JavaScript or Python.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java or Python.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Rest Assured, Postman, and Newman. Knowledge of trading and market data APIs is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems like BitBucket and GitLab.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
