Key Responsibilities:

As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for:

Test Planning: Collaborating with project teams to create detailed test plans and strategies for software projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Test Case Design: Designing and documenting test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on project requirements.
Test Execution: Executing test cases, performing functional, regression, and integration testing, and reporting defects and issues.
Automation Testing: Participating in automation testing efforts, including developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
SQL Queries: Writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing.
Defect Tracking: Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues, and collaborating with the development team for their resolution.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that software products meet and exceed quality standards and are ready for release.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills:

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

1-4 Years of Experience: A minimum of 1-4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual and automation testing.
Testing: Strong knowledge of testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Java: Proficiency in Java for test script development and automation testing.
SQL Queries: Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database testing and data validation.
Automation Testing: Familiarity with automation testing tools and the ability to contribute to automation efforts.
Test Case Design: Proficiency in designing and documenting test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
Defect Tracking: Strong skills in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
