Responsibilities:

  1. Automation Testing:
    • Utilize automation tools such as Java, Selenium, and TestNG to design, develop, and execute automated test cases.
    • Implement automation for API testing and ensure efficient test execution.
  2. Agile Methodologies:
    • Work in an Agile development environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to Agile ceremonies.
    • Adapt and align testing efforts to support the Agile development process.
  3. QA Processes and Methodologies:
    • Demonstrate a good understanding of basic QA processes, including the release process, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect management, and test reporting.
    • Contribute to the improvement of existing QA processes and methodologies.
  4. Test Case Preparation and Execution:
    • Efficiently prepare test cases to verify the functionality and quality of software applications.
    • Execute test cases and report defects in a timely and accurate manner.
  5. Database and SQL Skills:
    • Possess strong database and SQL skills to validate data integrity and perform database testing.
  6. Salesforce Testing (Good to Have):
    • Knowledge of Salesforce testing will be considered a valuable asset.
  7. Source-Code-Control and Configuration Management:
    • Understand the concepts of source-code-control and configuration management.
    • Work effectively with version control systems such as GIT.
  8. Communication Skills:
    • Exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients effectively.

Key Skills:

  • Automation Testing: Proficiency in automation testing using Java, Selenium, and TestNG.
  • API Testing: Experience in testing APIs using automation tools.
  • GIT, JIRA, Jenkins: Familiarity with version control, issue tracking, and continuous integration tools.
  • Software Testing: 3-5 years of relevant experience in software testing.
  • Test Case Preparation: Efficiency in creating comprehensive test cases.
  • Agile Methodologies: Understanding and experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Database and SQL: Strong database and SQL skills for data validation.
  • Salesforce Testing (Good to Have): Knowledge of Salesforce testing will be considered a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
  • Certification in automation testing or relevant technologies is a plus.
