Position: Salesforce Tester

Location: Bangalore / Navi Mumbai

Finesse is currently seeking an experienced Salesforce Tester to join our team. The position is available in either Bangalore or Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years of specific experience in Salesforce testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development and implementation teams to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce applications, ensuring the quality and reliability of the software.
  • Utilize your strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its various modules, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud, to effectively test and validate system functionalities.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, test processes, and best practices specifically for Salesforce implementations.
  • Develop and execute test scripts and test scenarios to identify defects, errors, and other issues in the Salesforce applications.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing, leveraging test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or Salesforce-specific automation tools like ApexTestSuite.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of Salesforce applications.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, defects, and test coverage to project teams and management.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Salesforce technology and contribute to improving the testing process and methodologies within the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with established processes throughout the testing lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years of experience specifically in Salesforce testing.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including its various modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, test processes, and best practices for Salesforce implementations.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
  • Proficiency in utilizing test automation tools, such as Selenium, Cucumber, or Salesforce-specific automation tools like ApexTestSuite, to streamline and enhance the testing process.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce development methodologies, including declarative development, Apex coding, and Visualforce pages.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting project deadlines.
