Position:QA Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Nouveau Labs, a leading technology company, is currently seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify defects, track issues, and verify fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify, document, and report software defects and track them to resolution.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects of the software.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Continuously improve and optimize the QA process by identifying gaps, suggesting process enhancements, and implementing automation frameworks and tools.
- Work closely with the development team to promote a culture of quality and help drive the adoption of best practices in testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Java, or C# for test automation.
- Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
