Position:QA Engineer (Automation)
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Remote

We are currently seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer (Automation) to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automation testing and will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our clients’ software applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and design effective test plans and strategies.
• Execute automated test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Identify, report, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously improve and optimize test scripts and frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality standards and best practices.
• Perform root cause analysis of issues and contribute to process improvements.
• Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, and share knowledge with the team.
• Collaborate with manual testers and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 3+ years in automation testing, preferably in an Agile environment.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Java, C#, or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications will be a plus.
