Position: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Noida/Gurgaon/Delhi-NCR
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications on the product side.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software products.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product owners, to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in software testing and automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in QA Automation, with a strong focus on web application testing.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Expertise in web testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues effectively.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and the ability to write complex database queries.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
