Position: Mobile Automation Testing Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Infosys is currently seeking a skilled Mobile Automation Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As a Mobile Automation Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mobile testing and automation, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to understand project requirements and ensure the quality of mobile applications.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications across different platforms (iOS and Android).
  • Utilize industry-standard testing tools and frameworks, such as Appium, Selenium, or other mobile automation tools, to automate test scenarios and streamline the testing process.
  • Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to identify defects, bugs, and other issues in mobile applications.
  • Perform manual testing as needed, ensuring thorough coverage of test scenarios and effective defect identification.
  • Create and maintain test data, test environments, and test assets to support the testing activities.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing detailed bug reports and suggestions for improvement.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize the mobile testing framework, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile testing and automation, sharing knowledge and contributing to the improvement of the overall testing practice within the organization.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, test coverage, and defects to project teams and management.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with established testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies, processes, and best practices across different platforms (iOS and Android).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting project deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
