As a QA professional at QBurst, you will embark on a journey to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of our software solutions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manual Testing: Designing and executing manual test cases and scenarios to identify software issues and defects. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate the accuracy and reliability of the software.
- Automation Testing: Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using cutting-edge tools and frameworks. Ensuring comprehensive test coverage and identifying regression issues efficiently.
- Testing Domains: If you have expertise in API testing, mobile application testing, database testing, or performance testing, your contributions in these specialized areas will enhance the overall quality of our projects.
- Test Planning: Contributing to the creation of test plans and strategies. Collaborating with the QA team to align testing objectives with project goals.
- Defect Management: Documenting defects and issues with precision, facilitating prompt resolution by development teams. Verifying defect fixes and validating software functionalities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Sharing insights and best practices to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing is mandatory.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C# for test automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and best practices.
- Exposure to additional testing domains such as API testing, mobile application testing, database testing, and performance testing is highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Immediate availability to join or a notice period of less than 1 month will be prioritized.
