As a QA Manual & Automation Testing Engineer at TetriQ Solutions, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to uphold high standards of software excellence.
- Manual Testing: Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and scenarios to validate software functionalities. Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
- Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium. Ensure that test cases are comprehensive, repeatable, and capable of identifying software issues across different environments.
- Test Planning: Contribute to the creation of test plans, strategies, and test cases. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure complete test coverage and alignment with project goals.
- Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases, analyzing results and providing detailed reports. Conduct regression testing to validate software stability across different releases.
- Defect Management: Document defects accurately, providing clear and concise information for efficient debugging and resolution. Verify defect fixes and validate software functionality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand requirements, user stories, and technical specifications. Participate in design reviews and provide valuable QA insights.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in manual and automation testing methodologies. Share best practices and contribute to enhancing testing efficiency.
- Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the QA field. Apply this knowledge to optimize testing practices and drive software quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in QA, with expertise in both manual and automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.
- Experience with automation testing using Python and Selenium.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and frameworks for automation.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and QA processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
- Immediate joiner with a maximum notice period of 30 days.
