Skills and Experience Required:

Veritas Technologies LLC is currently seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our talented team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have a passion for quality assurance, extensive software testing experience, and a solid understanding of automation tools and frameworks.   1. Software Testing Experience: The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of software testing experience, preferably gained in product-based companies. This experience will ensure a strong foundation in quality assurance principles and methodologies.
  2. Cloud-Based Solutions: Demonstrated ability to independently understand and test cloud-based solutions or features is essential. The candidate should consider various aspects such as functionality, performance, scalability, and security while conducting testing.
  3. Test Planning and Execution: Proficiency in crafting and delivering comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases for features and solutions is paramount. The candidate should excel in both manual test execution and automation.
  4. Automation Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Perl, Java, or Python is required for test automation. Additionally, the candidate should have experience working with Selenium and be familiar with automation frameworks and industry standards.
  5. Data Science and Machine Learning: Good understanding and testing experience of Data Science and Machine Learning models is highly desired to ensure the quality of advanced analytical features.
  6. API Testing: Candidates must have good knowledge of API testing (SOAP/REST) and hands-on experience with tools like Postman to validate APIs.
  7. Jenkins and Agile: Familiarity with Jenkins processes and agile methodologies will be an added advantage to streamline continuous integration and delivery processes.
  8. Cloud and Microservices: Experience and/or familiarity with Public Cloud platforms like AWS, Microservices architecture, Docker, Storage, and Kubernetes/Containers are desirable skills in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
  9. Database Testing: Strong knowledge of testing Text Search, MongoDB, SQL, and NoSQL Databases is essential for ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
  10. Operating Systems: Proven understanding of both Linux and Windows environments is required for testing cross-platform solutions.
  11. Troubleshooting: Demonstrating good troubleshooting skills will be beneficial in identifying and resolving issues effectively.
  12. Performance Testing: Expertise in Performance Testing tools like JMeter will be an advantage for evaluating system performance and scalability.
