As an Automation Test Lead or Senior Test Engineer at QualiZeal, you will play a pivotal role in driving software excellence through automated testing. Your technical expertise, innovative mindset, and dedication to quality assurance will contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project objectives and quality goals.
- Test Automation Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks that enable efficient and effective automated testing.
- Test Case Automation: Create and execute automated test cases to validate software functionalities, ensuring accuracy and reliability across different platforms.
- Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and report software defects, working closely with development teams to drive timely resolution.
- Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless and efficient testing as part of the software development lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance Expertise: Apply your deep understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices to enhance the overall software testing process.
- Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and contributing to their growth and development.
- Innovation & Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test results, defects, and other relevant testing artifacts. Communicate testing progress, results, and issues effectively to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 5-9 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and executing automated test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software functionalities.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies, with experience in creating and maintaining robust frameworks.
- Experience in defect identification, documentation, and collaboration with development teams for timely resolution.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes, integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support junior team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an innovative mindset and a drive to enhance testing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
