Position: UFT Automation Engineer
Location: Mumbai

We are seeking a skilled and motivated UFT Automation Engineer to join our team. As a UFT Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) or QTP (QuickTest Professional). You will work closely with the development team to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using UFT/QTP, VB Script, and descriptive programming.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand the application functionality and design appropriate test scenarios.
• Work with various automation frameworks such as Data Driven, Keyword Driven, and hybrid frameworks.
• Perform database testing using UFT and Selenium Automation (secondary skill).
• Identify and report software defects using defect management tools.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute test scripts and analyze test results to identify software defects and report them to the development team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software applications.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation and incorporate them into the testing process.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of test automation concepts and methodologies.
• 1-5 years of experience in test automation using UFT/QTP as the primary tool or Selenium Automation as the secondary tool.
• Proficiency in VB Scripting and descriptive programming.
• Experience in developing and executing test scripts using UFT or QTP.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Data Driven, Keyword Driven, and hybrid frameworks.
• Knowledge of database testing using UFT and Selenium.
• Good understanding and practical experience of defect management and test execution.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
