Position: Automation Test Engineer
Location: Vimannagar (Pune)
Vertiv Energy, a leading global R&D center in the energy industry, is seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing Dot Net and Angular applications. If you have hands-on experience in Dot Net with Angular application testing and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide inputs for testability.
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing of Dot Net and Angular applications.
- Identify and report software defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis for test failures and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of experience in automation testing of Dot Net and Angular applications.
- Strong experience with Dot Net technologies (VB.Net or C#) and front-end JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred).
- Proficient in using Git for source control and Azure DevOps for test management and collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Protractor, Jasmine, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within specified timelines.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing is a plus.
