Overview: Maveric Systems Limited is currently seeking experienced Automation Test Engineers to join our team. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 8 years of experience in automation testing and a strong background in various testing methodologies and tools. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Identify, prioritize, and report defects and issues using appropriate bug tracking tools.
- Participate in the analysis and review of business requirements and technical specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to validate software functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to determine the root cause and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure a comprehensive understanding of system requirements.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in automation testing.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in designing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Knowledge of various testing types including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Experience in the banking, financial services, or insurance domain is a plus.
