Job Summary:
As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and API with Postman. Your attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality products will be essential in contributing to the success of our client’s products.

- Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and API with Postman to validate software functionality and identify defects.
- Test Design: Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Test Execution: Execute test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects, track them to resolution, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to ensure that software updates and changes do not impact existing functionality negatively.
- API Testing: Conduct API testing using Postman to validate the integration and functionality of web services.
- Test Environment Setup: Set up and maintain the required test environments to support automated testing.
- Bug Tracking: Report defects in the defect tracking system, provide accurate descriptions, and assist in defect resolution.
- Test Documentation: Document test cases, test results, and test reports to provide clear and concise information to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the test automation process and methodologies to enhance overall testing efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA team members, to ensure effective testing practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer or a similar role in software testing.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools, particularly Selenium with Java.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Java for test automation.
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Ability to analyze requirements and design test scenarios and test cases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Prior experience working with product-based companies will be an advantage.
