Job Summary:

As an Automation Tester at Teamware Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through Automation testing. Your expertise in Web and mobile application automation, unit testing, BDD-based automation using Specflow, and experience with Appium and Python/Java will be essential in designing, developing, and executing test scripts. You will also be responsible for requirement analysis, test case design, execution, defect reporting, and managing test data.

Responsibilities:

  1. Automation Testing: Utilize your 8+ years of experience in Automation testing to design and execute automated test scripts for Web and mobile applications.
  2. Web and Mobile Application Automation: Conduct Automation testing for both Web and mobile applications to ensure seamless performance across platforms.
  3. Unit Testing: Perform unit testing to validate individual units of source code.
  4. STLC Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) to ensure comprehensive testing.
  5. BDD-based Automation: Implement BDD-based automation using tools like Specflow for effective test script development and maintenance.
  6. Framework Development: Utilize your experience in Framework development to enhance automation efficiency and reusability.
  7. Test Script Design: Design test scripts that cover comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  8. Appium and Python/Java: Experience with Appium and proficiency in Python or Java for test automation.
  9. Customer Communication: Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and stakeholders.
  10. Requirement Analysis: Conduct requirement analysis to understand testing needs and scope.
  11. Test Execution and Reporting: Execute test scripts, analyze test results, and report test and defect status to stakeholders.
  12. Device Testing and Test Data Simulation: Exposure to device testing and test data simulation to validate application functionality in different environments.
  13. Test and Defect Management: Experience in using test and defect management tools like Jira for effective test case management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 8+ years of experience as an Automation Tester with a focus on Web and mobile application automation.
  2. Proficiency in BDD-based automation using tools like Specflow.
  3. Strong experience in Framework development and test script design.
  4. Hands-on experience with Appium and proficiency in Python or Java for test automation.
  5. Good communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders effectively.
  6. Ability to perform requirement analysis, write test cases, execute tests, and report test results and defects.
  7. Exposure to device testing and test data simulation will be advantageous.
  8. Familiarity with compatibility testing on Browsers and Mobile will be beneficial.
  9. Experience in Embedded Testing, Medical device connectivity, or Health Care knowledge will be a plus.
