Position: Automation Tester (SDET) with AWS Experience

Location: Bangalore

Better Future Solutions, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Tester with a strong background in Quality Assurance and Test Automation. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in the field, with a focus on Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles. As an Automation Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. This position requires expertise in AWS and proficiency in a wide range of testing and automation tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation: Develop and implement robust and scalable test automation solutions for various software applications and systems, covering functional, API, performance, and ETL testing.
2. SDET Experience: Bring in-depth knowledge of Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) principles and practices to design and develop reliable test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
3. AWS Expertise: Utilize AWS services and tools effectively for testing and deployment in a cloud environment, ensuring the scalability and reliability of the testing infrastructure.
4. API Automation: Conduct API testing using Rest Assured to validate the functionality, performance, and security of RESTful APIs.
5. Performance Testing: Design and execute performance tests to evaluate the responsiveness and stability of applications under different load conditions.
6. ETL Testing: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data during the extraction, transformation, and loading process, employing appropriate testing methodologies.
7. SQL Proficiency: Utilize SQL queries and scripts for data validation and verification in various testing scenarios.
8. Selenium & Cucumber: Develop automated test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber for web application testing, adhering to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
9. TestNG & Java: Work with TestNG and Java to create comprehensive test suites and test cases for efficient test execution and result reporting.
10. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to identify testing requirements, resolve defects, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.
11. Communication: Effectively communicate test results, defects, and project status to stakeholders and team members.
12. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the testing process and efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation, with a focus on SDET roles.
3. Technical Skills:
   • Strong expertise in Rest Assured API Automation for testing RESTful APIs.
   • Proven experience in performance testing and using tools like JMeter.
   • Proficiency in ETL testing concepts and methodologies.
   • Solid understanding of SQL for data validation and verification.
   • Hands-on experience with Selenium and Cucumber for web application testing.
   • Familiarity with TestNG and Java for test case development.
   • Experience in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
4. Cloud Skills: Strong experience with AWS services and tools for testing and deployment in a cloud environment.
5. Tools: Working knowledge of Jira, Jenkins, and GitHub for test management and CI/CD integration.
6. Location: The position is based in Bangalore.
