Job Summary:
As a QA Test Engineer at Ventura Securities, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise in manual testing, mobile app testing, web testing, API testing, and database queries will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, plan and execute tests, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

- Leverage your 5 years of relevant experience to perform comprehensive manual testing of software applications.
- Apply your knowledge of mobile app testing, web testing, API testing, and database queries to validate the functionality and performance of our products.
- Utilize tools like Postman, Appium/Android Espresso, and JMeter to execute testing procedures efficiently.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the timely resolution of defects.
- Plan and execute various testing types, including Functional, Security, and Performance testing, across multiple product lines (Mobile & Web).
- Utilize your expertise in REST web service technology to test APIs and ensure their accuracy and reliability.
- Contribute to the improvement of our build, deployment, and Continuous Integration/Delivery processes.
- Thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment, adapting to evolving project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management, providing updates on testing progress and results.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong experience of 5 – 10 years in quality assurance and software testing.
- Proficient working knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with mobile app testing, web testing, API testing, and database queries.
- Proficiency in tools like Postman, Appium/Android Espresso, and JMeter.
- Understanding of web service technology, particularly REST APIs.
- Knowledge of build, deployment, and Continuous Integration/Delivery processes.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills, allowing you to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Work Mode:
The work mode for this position is hybrid, offering you the flexibility to work both remotely and from our Thane office location.
