Job Description:

As a Test Engineer at SPS Consultancy Services, you will be a critical part of our quality assurance team, responsible for verifying the functionality, performance, and security of web and mobile applications. Your role will encompass a range of testing activities, including manual and automated testing, test case design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Software Testing: Conduct comprehensive software testing for web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards.
2. SDLC and STLC: Apply your knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) to effectively plan, design, and execute test strategies.
3. Automation Testing (Selenium WebDriver): Utilize Selenium WebDriver to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts. Enhance testing efficiency and coverage through automation.
4. Programming Skills: Apply programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript to create and execute automated test scripts. Customize test automation frameworks as needed.
5. Test Case Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive and effective test cases, ensuring coverage of functional, regression, and performance testing.
6. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing cycle. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
7. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness, stability, and scalability.
8. Security Testing: Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices. Continuously enhance your testing skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• 2+ Years of Experience: You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
• SDLC and STLC: Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes and methodologies.
• Automation Skills: Proficiency in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver is essential.
• Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript for test automation.
• Test Case Design: Ability to design effective and comprehensive test cases.
• Bug Tracking: Proficiency in defect identification, documentation, and tracking.
