Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in test planning, strategy development, and test case design.
- Ensure that test plans align with project goals and quality standards.
- Test Case Development:
- Create and maintain detailed test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify and document test scenarios, data, and test scripts.
- Execute manual and automated test cases as needed.
- Testing Execution:
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Report defects and issues accurately and work with the development team for resolution.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects.
- Test Automation:
- Participate in test automation efforts by creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Identify opportunities for test automation to improve testing efficiency.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans and test results.
- Generate test summary reports and communicate test progress to stakeholders.
- Provide clear and concise feedback on testing outcomes.
- Quality Assurance Practices:
- Adhere to best practices in quality assurance and testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in testing.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing tools and test automation concepts is a plus.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
