- Automation Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium to validate software functionality and performance.
- Manual Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify defects, verify functionality, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Test Case Writing: Create detailed test cases and test plans that outline the scope, objectives, resources, schedule, and deliverables of the testing effort.
- API Testing: Perform API testing to verify the functionality, performance, and security of APIs used within the software.
- Security Testing: Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the software’s security compliance.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout the testing process, working closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolutions.
- Regression Testing: Execute regression testing to ensure that new changes or updates do not introduce new defects into the existing software.
- Test Reporting: Generate test reports and provide clear and concise feedback to project stakeholders, highlighting test progress, results, and issues.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and testing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Test Engineer.
- Proficiency in Java and Selenium for automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with API testing and security testing.
- Ability to write clear and detailed test cases.
- Bug tracking and defect management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
