Position Overview: As a Test Automation Engineer at CodeCraft Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the implementation of automated testing processes. Collaborating with a highly skilled QA team, you will have the opportunity to test a wide range of complex web and mobile applications across diverse domains including Fintech, Gaming, Energy, Healthcare, IoT, Security, and OTT. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand software requirements, design comprehensive test plans, and create detailed test cases.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-leading automation frameworks and tools.
- Perform thorough and comprehensive testing of web and mobile applications across various domains.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously improve and enhance the test automation framework to optimize testing efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in code reviews, providing insights into potential issues and suggesting improvements.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of best practices for automation testing.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing and quality assurance.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA professional with a strong emphasis on test automation.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Proficiency in using automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and defect life cycle.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or others commonly used in automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
