As a Test Analyst (SDET) specializing in Data and ETL Testing at Hexaware Technologies, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data across various systems and applications. Your responsibilities will include:
- ETL Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing of ETL processes to validate data transformations, data quality, and data integration.
- Data Validation: Develop and execute SQL queries to validate and verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Automation Testing: Create and execute automated test scripts and test frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret test results, identify data anomalies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data quality issues.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that data-related changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Performance Testing: Assess the performance of ETL processes and identify areas for optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Test Analyst (SDET) specializing in Data and ETL Testing.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
