About the Role:

CrowdStrike is looking for an Automation Engineer to join our fast-growing Marketing IT team. In this role, you will help the team discover creative and scalable ways to solve business challenges and improve our software capabilities and functionality. You will contribute your expertise designing and building first-class QA automation to meet evolving business requirements. What You’ll Do:

  • Independently design, develop, and iteratively improve our automation framework with a quality mindset.
  • Write test automation scripts that demonstrate an understanding of requirements and visual designs using Jira, Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber and Percy.
  • Responsible for using Agile/Scrum methodology for software development in a DevOps environment utilizing continuous integration and deployment scripts, Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing.
  • Create test suites, configure & orchestrate test environments/infrastructure and perform test execution
  • Define the overall test strategy and metrics, develop test plans, and coordinate execution to deliver a high-quality service to the organization.
  • Design test automation for Adobe Experience Cloud, UI, Micro services, APIs & entire Marketing Technology Stack.
  • Able to effectively coach and mentor others on test automation tools and coding practices
  • Work closely with testing team members, execute test plans, document defects and coordinate with development for resolution.
  • Promote excellent development practices for coded test frameworks, including participating in code reviews and source control management
  • Be a change agent for continuous improvement that delivers robust performance testing strategies and methods. Effective at communicating ideas.
  • Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices.

What You’ll Need:

  • 4+ years developing/building automation test frameworks and tools for web technologies and/or Adobe Experience Cloud
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in the software testing or development field
  • 3 years of hands-on experience as a QA (Web Application Testing) Automation Engineer, ideally with experience testing a CMS platform (AEM, Sitecore, Drupal).
  • Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks for Web Applications using a variety of automation testing tools – Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Percy, other widely used tools in the industry.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Javascript, HTML, CSS
  • Proficient in database querying, data creation, and data validation
  • Knowledge of testing integrations, end-to-end system processes.
  • CI/CD Experience
  • Good analytical & troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to details; Strong communication skills
