Job Description:

CIGNEX, a leading software services provider, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced SQA / Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with a deep understanding of the testing process. You will be responsible for preparing test cases, conducting testing activities, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring the overall quality of our software solutions. Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Testing Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in both manual and automation testing techniques, with the ability to design and execute test cases effectively.
2. Test Case Preparation: Develop comprehensive test cases that cover all aspects of software functionality, ensuring thorough test coverage.
3. Testing Process: Have a strong understanding of the software testing process, from test planning and execution to defect tracking and reporting.
4. Defect Management: Identify and report defects, composing clear and detailed defect reports that facilitate efficient resolution.
5. Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent spoken and written communication skills, as clear communication is crucial for effective collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: 4 to 8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
2. Manual and Automation: Proficiency in both manual and automation testing.
3. Testing Process: A solid understanding of the software testing process.
4. Defect Management: Experience in raising defects and composing detailed defect reports.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
