Senior Automation Tester | Dublin

At Sogeti Ireland, we work with our clients to deliver solutions that meet their business needs. We are currently seeking a Senior Automation Tester for exciting new opportunities that have arisen. Our Automation Testers are responsible for using technical expertise and problem-solving skills to assist our clients in achieving software quality success.

We are seeking an ambitious career tester with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Test Automation. You will possess good and varied coding skills and a strong passion for learning. Client interaction experience is required, so you will possess excellent client engagement and communication skills and have experience of the full project lifecycle. Good analysis and problem-solving skills along with the ability to work under reasonable pressure is a must.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients in Test Automation tool selection and architecture
• Using expertise in client proposal preparation
• Working directly with offshore Centre of Excellence in forming teams
• Interacting with and guiding onshore and offshore teams
• Developing and executing Automated Tests and Test frameworks
• Identifying and solving technical problems
• Experience Required

Primary Skills

Robot Automation Framework, Salesforce Testing, QA

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in testing SFDC, understanding of SFDC model, SFDC reports etc.
• Demonstrate experience of scripting skills with 1 or more languages (Java, C#, HTML, JavaScript)
• Proven experience in building and implementing 2 or more prominent test frameworks using tooling such as Selenium, Robot, Cypress, BDD, Cucumber, Junit, GIT
• Hands on experience of database script management using MS SQL Server / Ingres or other Relational Databases
• Proven ability of leading / coaching a team of automation engineers
• Understanding of Agile Automation Test frameworks and using tools to trigger tests e.g Jenkins

Desirable Skills

• Proven understanding of Web Architecture/frameworks
• Previous experience with Salesforce
• Proven understanding of Service Oriented Architecture
• Detailed understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies & concepts
• Has worked in highly automated CI/CD environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
