Position: Manual QA Engineer
Location: Pune, India
Highrise Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and validation processes. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and passion for delivering high-quality software will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of our software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools and processes.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not introduce unintended issues.
- Participate in test plan and test case reviews to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders, highlighting any issues or concerns.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the automation testing team to identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to test automation efforts when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer or in a similar role, with a minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Proficient in designing and executing manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Solid knowledge of defect tracking systems and test management tools.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
- Experience in performing functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
