Position: Performance Test Engineer
Location: Bangalore

Apidel Technologies is currently hiring for the position of Performance Test Engineer for one of our Fortune 500 clients based in Bangalore. We are looking for a skilled professional with at least 4 years of experience in performance testing. If you have the required skills and experience in performance testing tools, Dynatrace/Datadog, Jenkins, web protocols, and exposure to PCF Applications, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance testing activities to evaluate the performance, scalability, and reliability of software applications.
- Utilize performance testing tools and frameworks to design and execute performance tests.
- Analyze performance test results and identify areas of improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure performance testing aligns with business goals.
- Monitor performance metrics using tools like Dynatrace and Datadog to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Implement and maintain performance testing environments and test data.
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using web protocols such as HTTP/HTML, web services, and Ajax – TruClient.
- Work with Jenkins for test automation and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Gain exposure and knowledge of PCF Applications and their performance testing requirements.
- Ensure clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, with team members and stakeholders.
- Follow test process and SDLC methodologies to ensure quality and efficiency in performance testing activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in performance testing.
- Strong expertise in performance testing tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in using Dynatrace and Datadog for performance monitoring and analysis.
- Familiarity with Jenkins for test automation and integration.
- Mandatory knowledge of web protocols, including HTTP/HTML, web services, and Ajax – TruClient.
- Exposure and knowledge of PCF Applications and their performance testing requirements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident, outgoing, and a good team player.
- Knowledge of test process and SDLC methodologies.
