Position: Assistant Manager – QA
Derewala is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Manager – QA to join our team. As the Assistant Manager – QA, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy and roadmap to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Establish and enforce quality standards, policies, and procedures across all departments and teams.
- Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality requirements and specifications.
- Plan and execute testing activities, including test case development, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Conduct thorough reviews of product requirements, design specifications, and test plans to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems and tools to support efficient and effective QA processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a QA Manager or in a similar quality assurance leadership role.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
