Job Summary: As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Altair, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with our development teams to perform manual and automated testing, identify defects, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

- Understanding of QA Software Testing:
- Develop a deep understanding of quality assurance (QA) principles and software testing methodologies.
- Participate in test planning and test case design activities.
- Coding Knowledge:
- Apply knowledge of coding languages such as C#, Java, or Python to create and execute test scripts.
- Collaborate with developers to understand code changes and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Automation Frameworks:
- Work with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Katalon, BDD (Behavior-Driven Development), or similar tools.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Manual and Automated Testing:
- Conduct manual testing to verify software functionality and user experience.
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze results for regression testing.
- Defect Identification and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and report defects and issues in a clear and structured manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and verify fixes.
- Test Documentation:
- Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Keep test documentation up to date with changes in software features and requirements.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of QA software testing principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of coding languages like C#, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Katalon, BDD, or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
