Best Mobile For YouKey Responsibilities: As a Senior Tech Specialist – Data Testing, you will play a pivotal role in our data quality assurance efforts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Database Testing: Conducting comprehensive testing of databases to validate data accuracy, integrity, and performance. This includes assessing schema design, indexing, and data consistency.
- ETL Testing: Analyzing and validating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to maintain data consistency, quality, and reliability throughout the data pipeline.
- Data Warehouse Testing: Verifying the functionality and performance of data warehousing solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and perform optimally.
- BI Testing: Evaluating Business Intelligence reports, dashboards, and analytics for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications.
- Expertise in GCP (Good to Have): Utilizing your expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enhance our data testing capabilities, ensuring compatibility with GCP-based data solutions.
- Automation Skills (Good to Have): Developing and executing automated testing scripts to streamline and accelerate the data testing process, contributing to efficiency gains.
Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of hands-on experience in Database testing, ETL testing, Data Warehouse testing, and BI testing.
- Proficiency in SQL and the ability to write complex queries for data validation.
- A deep understanding of data modeling concepts, data warehousing principles, and data quality best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is advantageous.
- Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium or similar is a plus.
Location: This is a hybrid position located in the vibrant city of Mumbai, specifically in the Powai area. You’ll have the flexibility to work both remotely and in our Mumbai office.
