As a Senior Quality Engineer at Tavant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to delivering top-notch solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java Selenium for web applications. Conduct API testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Test Frameworks: Utilize tools such as GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins to facilitate seamless integration and automation of the testing process.
- Test Case Preparation: Efficiently design, document, and maintain test cases that encompass a wide range of scenarios, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, identify defects, and report issues using industry-standard practices. Conduct thorough regression testing to validate software stability.
- QA Processes: Apply your knowledge of basic QA processes, including the software testing life cycle (STLC), release processes, and defect management.
- Automation API Testing: Utilize your experience with Automation API Selenium, Java, and TestNG to enhance testing coverage and efficiency.
- Agile Methodologies: Apply your understanding and experience with Agile methodologies to thrive in a fast-paced development environment.
- Database and SQL Skills: Leverage your strong database and SQL skills to validate data integrity and perform backend testing.
- Salesforce Testing: Bring your knowledge in Salesforce testing to contribute to the quality of Salesforce-related projects.
- Configuration Management: Understand source-code control and configuration management practices to ensure version control and code integrity.
- Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, collaborating effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in software testing.
- Proficiency in Automation Testing with Java Selenium and API testing.
- Hands-on experience with GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins for continuous integration and automation.
- Experience in creating and maintaining test cases, executing test scripts, and reporting defects.
- Understanding of basic QA processes, including release processes, STLC, and defect management.
- Good-to-have experience in Automation API Selenium, Java, and TestNG.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong Database and SQL skills for backend testing.
- Knowledge in Salesforce testing is an added advantage.
- Understanding of source-code control and configuration management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
