Position: Senior Engineer
Location: Hyderabad / Pune / Bengaluru / Chennai / Gurgaon
EPAM Systems, a global provider of digital platform engineering and software development services, is currently hiring Senior Engineers with expertise in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, API Testing using Postman, and Database Testing using SQL. We are seeking experienced professionals with strong skills in all three areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
- Conduct functional testing to validate the software meets the specified requirements.
- Utilize Postman for API testing and ensure the APIs function as expected.
- Perform database testing using SQL to verify data integrity and accuracy.
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Execute tests and report defects using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to resolve issues and ensure timely bug fixes.
- Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions.
- Conduct test automation as required to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing.
- Expert-level skills in manual testing and functional testing.
- Strong experience in API testing using tools like Postman.
- Proficiency in database testing using SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
