Role Overview: As a Senior Automation Testing Engineer at DevOn, you will be responsible for testing various product features to ensure their functionality and usability. Your expertise in automation testing and hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, SoapUI, RestAssured, Jest, and Appium will be instrumental in maintaining the quality and reliability of our software solutions. - Test Strategy: Collaborate with the development team and product owners to design test strategies and identify test scenarios.
- Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and API testing using the specified tools.
- Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of the product.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Test Reporting: Prepare and present test reports, highlighting test results and providing insights to stakeholders.
- Test Environment Setup: Set up and maintain test environments to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing, and introduce improvements to enhance the testing process.
- Test Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure seamless integration of automated tests.
Required Skills:
- Automation Testing: Proven experience in automation testing across Web, Mobile, and API platforms.
- Test Automation Tools: Proficiency in one or more of the following tools: Selenium, Cypress, SoapUI, RestAssured, Jest, and Appium.
- Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of testing methodologies, strategies, and best practices.
- Defect Management: Familiarity with defect tracking and management processes.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve testing issues.
- Usability Testing: Experience in testing the usability and user experience of software products.
