Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Writing and Executing Test Cases: Write and execute detailed,comprehensive test cases across various stages of the development lifecycle.
API and UI Testing: Develop and execute both API and UI tests to verify functionality and user experience. Performing Manual and Automated Testing: Execute both manual and automated tests, including unit, integration, regression, and performance tests.
Debugging and Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects, and work with the development team to prioritize and address these issues.
Designing and Implementing Test Frameworks: Create, optimize, and maintain automated test frameworks to ensure product functionality and stability.
Reviewing Requirements and Specifications: Review product design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Conducting Code Reviews: Regularly conduct code reviews to ensure that the application code is efficient, reusable, and scalable.
Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with developers, UX designers, POs/PMs, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality and consistency.
Promoting Best QA Practices: Advocate for best practices in QA and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes

Essential Skills & Experience:

Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C#, TypeScript), and in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Shell, Perl).
Understanding of Test Frameworks: Expertise in test frameworks such as Cypress, Jest.
Experience with Test Automation: Hands-on experience with designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
API Testing: Understanding of RESTful services and experience with API testing tools like Postman.
Database Skills: Proficiency with SQL and a solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Agile and Scrum: Experience working in Agile/Scrum software development environments.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues. Knowledge of Software QA Methodologies: Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including writing and executing test cases.
Cross-Browser and Cross-Platform Testing: Experience in testing applications across various browsers and platforms.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, as the role involves collaboration with various stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to understand complex software systems and identify the best testing strategies.
