Role Overview:
As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) specializing in Test Tools Development and Manual Testing at Visa, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our payment processing systems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining test tools, frameworks, and conducting manual testing to support the software development and release process.

- Test Tools Development: Design, develop, and maintain test tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to facilitate automated and manual testing processes.
- Manual Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual testing of software applications, ensuring the identification and reporting of defects and issues.
- Test Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases for various projects.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that Visa’s payment processing systems meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and security.
- Automation: Drive test automation efforts by identifying opportunities for automation and implementing automated test scripts.
- Defect Management: Work closely with developers and product teams to prioritize, track, and manage defects to resolution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and processes.
- Strong understanding of test tools development and test automation.
- Knowledge of software development concepts and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Knowledge of payments industry standards and regulations is a bonus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
